Possible Causes
Faulty NTC flow sensor, Loose sensor connection, Scale build-up in primary heat exchanger, Pump not circulating
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power before accessing internal components. Water may be hot and under pressure.
- Visual check: Inspect the pressure gauge and ensure system pressure is correct (around 1.0–1.5 bar cold).
- Reset boiler: After cooling, reset and observe if the temperature climbs abnormally fast.
- Engineer tasks:
- Check resistance of the flow NTC sensor at various temperatures and compare with Vokera charts.
- Inspect wiring harness from sensor to PCB for damage or loose plugs.
- Verify pump operation and that isolation valves are open.
- Check for scale or sludge restricting the primary heat exchanger.
Do not bypass sensors. Replace the NTC if readings are out of specification.
