Boiler with indirect tank or combi function shows 'DHW Sensor Fault', 'Tank Sensor Open/Short', or DHW temperature is incorrect.

Safety first: Turn off power and close domestic water valves if working on the tank.

• 1. Locate DHW sensor: On indirect tanks, the sensor is usually in a well on the tank. On combi boilers, it may be strapped to piping or internal.
• 2. Check seating and wiring: Ensure the sensor is fully inserted into the well and the cable is intact and firmly connected to the boiler control.
• 3. Inspect for moisture: Look for water in the sensor well or junction box. Dry and reseal as needed.
• 4. Replace sensor: If the fault persists, replace with the correct Weil-McLain DHW sensor kit.
