• Check external gas supply: Confirm that the building gas meter valve is open and that other gas appliances work. If not, contact the gas supplier.
• Verify gas train valves: On the Weishaupt gas train, ensure all manual shut-off valves and test cocks are in the correct operating position.
• Inspect gas filter: If a gas filter is installed before the valve, isolate and remove the filter element. Clean or replace if heavily contaminated.
• Test valve coils: With power off, measure the resistance of the gas valve coils and compare with Weishaupt specifications. Replace the gas valve or coil set if open or shorted.
