Possible Causes
Defective flow NTC sensor, Broken or shorted sensor wiring, Poor connector contact on main PCB, Water ingress at sensor pocket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before accessing internal components. Allow the boiler to cool.
- Reset the boiler: Attempt a reset to clear any transient error.
- Check system temperature: Ensure the boiler is not genuinely overheated (very hot flow pipe). If it is cool but still shows A08, the sensor is likely faulty.
- Visual inspection (competent person): Remove the front cover and locate the flow NTC on the flow pipe. Check for loose or corroded connectors.
- Do not bridge the sensor: Bypassing the NTC is unsafe. If the fault persists, have the sensor tested and replaced by a technician.
