Carpet cleaner leaks clean water or solution from the bottom of the machine when not in use.

Safety first: Unplug the unit and move it to a tiled area to avoid damaging carpets.

• Inspect clean water tank: Remove the tank, fill it over a sink, and check for cracks or leaks from seams. Replace the tank if it leaks when off the machine.
• Check outlet seal: Examine the rubber seal or valve at the tank outlet. Clean any debris and replace the seal if hardened or cracked.
• Inspect solution valve: On the machine body, locate the valve that the tank sits on. Check for drips or cracks. Replace the valve assembly if it leaks.
• Check internal hoses: Open the housing and inspect the solution hose and clamps for signs of leakage. Tighten or replace clamps and hoses as needed.

Do not store the machine with solution in the tank if it has a history of leaking; empty and dry the tank after use.
