Possible Causes
Dirty water left in tank, Damp brush and nozzle stored without drying, Bacteria growth in internal hoses, Clogged and dirty filters
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and wear gloves if dealing with moldy water.
- Thoroughly clean tanks: Empty and wash both clean and dirty water tanks with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse well and allow to dry completely.
- Sanitize hoses and nozzle: Run a solution of warm water and white vinegar through the spray system, then flush with clean water. Wipe the nozzle and brush with a disinfectant-safe cloth.
- Clean or replace filters: Remove filters and wash or replace them according to the manual. Odors often linger in saturated filters.
- Dry before storage: After cleaning, leave the tanks, hose, and nozzle off the machine to air dry fully before reassembly and storage.
Regular post-use cleaning prevents odor buildup and extends the life of seals and hoses.
