Possible Causes
Warped brush roll, Debris stuck on brush, Loose floor nozzle screws, Damaged wheels or axles
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before inspecting the underside.
- Check brush roll: Remove the brush and inspect for missing bristles or warping. Clean off any clumps of hair or debris that could cause imbalance. Replace if deformed.
- Inspect nozzle and screws: Ensure all screws securing the nozzle and bottom plate are tight.
- Check wheels: Spin the wheels by hand. Replace any that wobble or are cracked.
- Test on flat surface: Use the machine on a flat, hard floor to see if vibration persists. If it is smooth on hard floors but not on carpet, the brush height or carpet type may be contributing.
Persistent vibration can accelerate wear on bearings and fasteners; address promptly.
