Possible Causes
Empty or improperly seated solution tank, Blocked inlet filter, Clogged flow sensor, Faulty flow meter or turbine sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect from mains before removing panels or hoses.
- Check solution tank level and seating: Fill the clean water/solution tank and ensure it is correctly locked into place. Many AEG units will show E10 if the tank is not detected.
- Clean inlet filter: Remove the tank and locate the small mesh filter at the outlet. Rinse under warm water to remove debris and detergent buildup.
- Inspect spray line and nozzles: Detach the spray nozzle assembly and flush with warm water. Use a soft brush or toothpick to clear any mineral deposits.
- Locate and clean flow sensor: Some models use a small turbine or flow meter in the solution line. Remove it carefully and rinse to clear any obstructions. Ensure the turbine spins freely.
- Test flow sensor electrically: Reconnect the sensor and, with the unit unplugged, check the sensor wiring for continuity. If the sensor is open circuit or physically damaged, replace it.
Do not run the pump dry for extended periods; it can overheat and fail.
