Possible Causes
Empty solution tank, Blocked spray nozzles, Kinked solution hose, Faulty trigger valve in handle
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the AEG carpet cleaner before disconnecting hoses.
- Check solution tank: Fill the clean water/solution tank and ensure it is properly seated.
- Inspect spray nozzles: Remove the floor nozzle and soak the spray jets in warm water with a little vinegar. Use a soft brush to clear mineral deposits.
- Check solution hose: Follow the small hose from the tank to the nozzle. Straighten any kinks and ensure it is not pinched by the housing.
- Test trigger valve: On models with a trigger in the handle, open the handle housing and inspect the mechanical or micro-switch valve. Ensure the linkage moves freely and the valve opens when the trigger is pulled. Replace the valve or switch if faulty.
After reassembly, prime the system by holding the trigger for 20–30 seconds to remove air from the line.
