Carpet cleaner is extremely loud, with grinding or rattling noises during operation.

Safety: Unplug the unit immediately if you hear grinding or burning smells.

• 1. Isolate noise source: Run the unit briefly (if safe) and listen to determine if the noise comes from the brush area or the motor area.
• 2. Inspect brush area: Remove the nozzle and brush roll. Clear debris and check for broken plastic parts or loose screws. Replace the brush roll if the core is cracked.
• 3. Check motor fan (advanced): Access the suction motor and inspect the cooling fan for broken blades or foreign objects. Remove debris carefully.
• 4. Replace noisy motor: If the motor bearings are noisy or the fan is damaged, replace the complete suction motor assembly.
• 5. Tighten housing: Tighten any loose screws on the handle, base, and nozzle that may cause rattling.
