Carpet cleaner leaks clean water or solution from the bottom when not in use.

Safety: Unplug the unit and remove all tanks before inspection.

• 1. Inspect tank cap and gasket: Remove the clean water tank cap and check the rubber gasket for cracks, warping, or missing sections. Replace the cap or gasket if damaged.
• 2. Check bottom valve: Examine the tank bottom valve assembly for cracks or debris preventing it from sealing. Clean with warm water and replace if the spring or seal is worn.
• 3. Look for tank cracks: Hold the tank up to a light and inspect for hairline cracks, especially around seams and corners. Replace the clean water tank if any cracks are found.
• 4. Verify tank seating: Reinstall the tank, ensuring it sits flat and locks into place. A misaligned tank can leak around the base grommets.
• 5. Base seals: If water appears around the base even with a known-good tank, inspect and replace the tank-to-base rubber seals / grommets.
