How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and wear gloves when handling dirty components.

- 2. Clean brush and nozzle: Remove the brush roll and nozzle assembly. Wash thoroughly and allow to air dry before reinstalling.
- 3. Sanitize hose: For models with a hose, flush the accessory hose with a mild bleach solution (if allowed by Bissell) or a disinfecting cleaner, then rinse and dry.
- 4. Run rinse cycle: Fill the clean tank with warm water and run the machine on a hard floor or test area to flush internal lines.
- 5. Storage: Always store the machine with tanks empty and components dry to prevent future odors.
