Dirty water tank difficult to remove or reinstall

Safety first: Unplug the unit before forcing any tank removal.

• 1. Remove debris
  • Inspect the tank rails and seating area for dried detergent, hair, or debris.
  • Clean thoroughly with a damp cloth.
• 2. Inspect tank shape
  • Check the tank for warping or bulging, often caused by hot water or impact.
  • Replace the tank if deformed.
• 3. Check gasket position
  • Ensure the tank gasket is seated correctly and not folded or displaced.
• 4. Lubricate lightly
  • If allowed by Bosch, a small amount of food-safe silicone spray on rails can ease insertion (avoid overspray).
