Possible Causes
Clogged suction hose, Blocked floor nozzle inlet, Full dirty water tank, Clogged motor pre-filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the Bosch carpet cleaner before clearing blockages.
- 1. Check dirty water tank
- Remove and empty the dirty water tank.
- Ensure the tank lid and seals are correctly fitted; air leaks here reduce suction.
- 2. Inspect suction hose and wand
- Detach the hose from both the machine and the floor nozzle.
- Look through the hose; use a flexible brush or straightened (blunt) wire to push out clogs.
- Check the wand and any accessory tools for obstructions.
- 3. Clean floor nozzle inlet
- Turn the unit over and inspect the suction inlet behind the brush roll.
- Remove hair, carpet fibers, and debris that may be blocking the opening.
- 4. Clean filters
- Remove the motor pre-filter and exhaust filter.
- Tap off dust or wash if the manual allows; ensure filters are completely dry before refitting.
- 5. Test suction
- Reassemble and test suction at the hose inlet.
- If suction is still weak and E06 persists, the suction motor or internal seals may be failing and should be checked by a technician.
