Possible Causes
Child lock function enabled, Faulty key matrix on control panel, Stuck button, Corrupted control PCB settings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: This is typically a user-level setting; no internal repair is needed unless the lock cannot be cleared.
- 1. Disable child lock
- Refer to the Bosch user manual; usually, press and hold a specific button combination (e.g., "Mode" + "Power") for 3–5 seconds.
- Wait for the padlock icon to disappear.
- 2. Check for stuck buttons
- Press each button on the control panel several times.
- If any button feels stuck or does not click, clean around it with a soft cloth; avoid liquid cleaners.
- 3. Power reset
- Unplug the unit for 5 minutes to allow the control PCB to reset.
- Plug back in and check if E13 is cleared.
- 4. Panel or PCB replacement
- If the lock cannot be disabled and buttons test faulty, replace the control panel keypad or the main control PCB as per Bosch parts list.
