Clogged accessory spray nozzle, Blocked diverter valve, Kinked accessory hose, Debris in quick-connect coupling
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and release trigger pressure before disconnecting hoses.
- 1. Check accessory hose
- Disconnect the accessory hose from the main body and tool.
- Blow air through the hose or run water through it to confirm it is clear.
- 2. Clean hand tool nozzle
- Remove the spray nozzle from the upholstery tool if possible.
- Soak in warm descaling solution if hard water deposits are present.
- Clear holes gently with a soft brush.
- 3. Inspect diverter valve
- Locate the solution diverter valve that switches flow between floor nozzle and accessory hose.
- Ensure the selector is fully engaged in the accessory position.
- Check for debris or damage; replace the valve if it does not fully open.
- 4. Check quick-connect coupling
- Inspect the coupling O-rings and internal check valve for blockage.
- Clean and lubricate O-rings with a silicone-safe lubricant if needed.
