• Check outlet voltage: Use a multimeter to verify that the outlet provides the correct voltage (typically 120V or 230V depending on region). If low, move to a different circuit or contact an electrician.
• Avoid shared high-load circuits: Do not run the carpet cleaner on the same circuit as space heaters, microwaves, or other heavy loads.
• Inspect power connectors: Open the housing and check the main power connector from the cord to the PCB. Reseat any loose plugs.
• Power supply module: Some Electrolux models use a separate low-voltage power module. Inspect for bulging capacitors, burn marks, or a burnt smell. Replace the module if damaged.
• Reset and test: After corrections, plug in and test. If E13 remains with correct line voltage, the main control board may have a defective power regulation circuit.
