Possible Causes
Failed solution pump, Airlock in solution line, Blocked spray nozzle, Faulty pump wiring or control relay
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and empty tanks before disassembly.
- Confirm tank placement: Ensure the clean water/solution tank is fully seated and the cap/valve assembly is not damaged. A misaligned tank can prevent water flow.
- Prime the pump: Fill the clean tank with warm water and a small amount of approved Electrolux solution. With the unit plugged in and on (if safe), hold the spray trigger for 30–60 seconds to purge air. If no spray, stop and unplug.
- Clean spray nozzles: Remove the front nozzle assembly. Soak the spray tips in warm water and gently clear mineral deposits with a soft brush or toothpick. Do not enlarge the nozzle holes.
- Check pump filter and lines: Access the internal solution pump. Inspect the inlet filter and hoses for kinks, clogs, or leaks. Straighten hoses and rinse filters.
- Test the pump: With a multimeter, check for voltage at the pump terminals when the trigger is pressed (unit plugged in—this step is for trained persons only). If voltage is present but the pump does not run, replace the pump. If no voltage, suspect the trigger switch or control board.
