Unpleasant odor from the unit or from carpets after cleaning.

Safety first: Unplug before cleaning internal parts.

• Empty tanks after each use: Rinse both clean and dirty tanks with warm water.
• Flush system: Run a tank of warm water with a small amount of Electrolux-approved cleaner through the system, then a tank of plain water.
• Clean nozzle and brush housing: Remove and wash with mild detergent. Allow to dry completely.
• Dry storage: Store the unit with tanks removed and openings exposed to air to prevent mold.
