Carpet remains excessively wet after cleaning; very little water is being picked up.

Safety: Unplug the Ewbank cleaner before inspecting the nozzle and filters.

• Clean nozzle: Remove the floor nozzle and clear any lint or debris from the suction slot.
• Check seals: Inspect the rubber seal between the nozzle and body. Replace if cracked or missing.
• Empty and reseat tank: Ensure the recovery tank is empty and properly installed.
• Clean filters: Wash and dry the intake filter to restore airflow.

If extraction is still poor, the suction motor or internal seals may be compromised and require service.
