Possible Causes
Blocked solution filter at tank outlet, Clogged internal solution filter, Kinked solution hose, Faulty flow sensor (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and empty the solution tank before disassembly.
- Clean tank outlet valve: Remove the solution tank and inspect the outlet valve and filter screen. Rinse under warm water to remove detergent residue.
- Check in-line filter: Some Ewbank models have a small in-line solution filter between the tank and pump. Remove the filter, flush it with warm water, and reinstall it in the correct direction of flow.
- Inspect hoses: Follow the solution hose path and straighten any kinks or pinched sections. Replace damaged hose.
- Reset error: Refill the tank, reseat it firmly, and power the unit on. Hold the trigger for 30–60 seconds to re-establish flow.
If E6 remains and there is still no flow, the internal flow sensor or pump may be defective and require replacement.
