Possible Causes
Failed solution pump, Blocked pump inlet filter, Faulty wash mode rocker switch, Disconnected pump wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the George and empty the clean water tank before opening.
- Confirm mode and water level: Ensure the machine is in wash mode and the clean solution tank is filled above the minimum level.
- Check for hose kinks: Inspect the clear solution hose from the tank to the pump and from the pump to the outlet for kinks or crushing.
- Clean pump inlet filter: Locate the small mesh filter at the pump inlet or inside the solution tank outlet. Remove debris and rinse thoroughly.
- Test the wash rocker switch: Use a multimeter to check continuity when switched on. Replace the wash mode rocker switch if open circuit.
- Test the pump: With the machine unplugged, check the pump wiring connectors. If secure, test pump coil resistance; an open circuit indicates a failed solution pump that must be replaced.
