How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the machine and disconnect the powered floor head.
- Check for jams: Turn the floor head over and inspect the brush bar. Remove hair, threads, and debris using scissors and pliers.
- Inspect drive belt: Remove the bottom plate of the floor head. Check if the belt is snapped, stretched, or off the pulleys. Replace the brush drive belt if damaged.
- Test brush motor: With the head opened, check the motor wiring and connectors. Use a multimeter to test continuity of the brush motor. Replace if open circuit or seized.
