Possible Causes
Moisture inside motor housing, Damaged power cord insulation, Water ingress into switch or PCB, Failing motor windings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Critical safety: Do not repeatedly reset a tripping RCD. Unplug the machine immediately.
- Dry the unit: If the machine has been stored damp or used in very wet conditions, allow it to dry in a warm, ventilated area for 24–48 hours.
- Inspect power cord: Check for cuts, crushed sections, or exposed copper. Replace the power cord set if any damage is found.
- Check for water ingress: Open the top cover and inspect around the switches and PCB for signs of water. Dry carefully and correct any obvious leaks from hoses or tanks.
- Test insulation: A technician should perform an insulation resistance test on the suction motor and wiring. Replace any component with low insulation resistance.
If you are not trained in electrical testing, this fault should be handled by a qualified appliance technician.
