Possible Causes
Severely jammed brush roll, Worn brush bearings, Overloaded carpet (too thick or wet), Faulty brush current sensor on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the carpet cleaner before working near the brush.
- Clear brush jams: Remove the nozzle cover and brush roll. Cut away hair, threads, and debris from the bristles and end caps.
- Check bearings: Spin the brush roll by hand. If it feels rough or binds, replace the brush roll assembly.
- Reduce load: Avoid pressing down excessively on very thick or soaked carpets. Make slower passes and allow more drying time between passes.
- Inspect brush motor: Check for overheating, burnt smell, or discolored windings. Replace the motor if it shows signs of damage.
If E11 continues after mechanical issues are resolved, the current sensing circuit on the PCB may be faulty and require board replacement.
