How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit and wear gloves when handling dirty water or moldy parts.

  • Empty and sanitize tanks: Empty both clean and dirty water tanks. Wash with warm water and mild detergent, then rinse with a solution of water and white vinegar. Allow to dry completely.
  • Clean hoses and nozzle: Flush hoses with warm water and a small amount of disinfectant (compatible with plastics). Rinse thoroughly.
  • Wash filters and brush roll: Remove filters and the brush roll. Wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and let dry fully before reinstalling.
  • Dry before storage: After use, run the suction for a few minutes with no water to help dry internal passages. Store the unit in a dry, ventilated area with tanks removed or lids open.
