Possible Causes
Partially clogged spray nozzles, Restricted solution filter, Kinked solution hose, Weak or failing solution pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and remove water from tanks before disassembly.
- Clean spray nozzles: Remove the front nozzle assembly. Use a pin or soft brush to clear each spray jet. Rinse thoroughly under warm water.
- Check solution filter: Locate the in-line solution filter (often near the base or pump). Remove and rinse until clear. Replace if the mesh is damaged.
- Inspect hoses: Follow the solution hose from the tank to the pump and from the pump to the nozzle. Straighten any kinks and ensure there are no visible cracks or leaks.
- Prime and test: Refill the clean water tank, reinstall, and plug in. Hold the trigger for 30–60 seconds to prime the system. If flow remains weak, the pump may be worn and require replacement.
If E8 continues after cleaning and priming, the solution pump or flow sensor (if fitted) may be defective.
