Hoover carpet cleaner does not dispense cleaning solution even though water sprays

Safety first: Unplug the unit and remove the detergent tank.

• Clean detergent tank outlet: Rinse the solution tank outlet and cap thoroughly to remove dried detergent.
• Flush mixing chamber: Run warm water through the system with the selector set to WASH to dissolve buildup.
• Inspect siphon tube: Remove and clean the detergent siphon tube and any small filters.
• Operate selector: Move the rinse/wash selector repeatedly to free any sticking internal parts.
