Hoover carpet cleaner hose tool has no spray but floor nozzle sprays normally

Safety first: Unplug the unit and depressurize by squeezing the trigger with the machine off.

• Clean tool nozzle: Remove the hose tool and clear the spray tip with a pin. Rinse thoroughly.
• Inspect hose: Check the solution hose along its length for kinks or sharp bends. Straighten as needed.
• Check diverter: Many Hoover models have a floor/hose diverter valve. Move it between positions several times to ensure it is not stuck.
