Brushes do not rotate, but suction and spray work normally

Safety: Unplug the Husqvarna carpet cleaner and lay it on its side or back for access.

• Remove bottom cover: Take off the brush access plate or nozzle to expose the brush roll and belt.
• Clear jams: Cut away hair, threads, and fibers from the brush roll and end caps. Ensure the brush spins freely by hand.
• Inspect belt: If your model uses a belt, check for cracks, glazing, or slack. Replace the Husqvarna brush drive belt if damaged or loose.
• Check motor: If belt and brush are good but still no rotation, test the brush motor for continuity and replace if open or seized.
