How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Husqvarna carpet cleaner. Do not store with brushes running.
- Locate tilt switch: At the base of the handle, find the upright position switch or sensor.
- Test switch: Use a multimeter to verify that the switch changes state when the handle is moved from upright to operating position. Replace the Husqvarna tilt switch if faulty.
- Check linkage: Ensure the handle movement properly engages the switch actuator. Adjust or repair linkage as needed.
- PCB relay: If the switch is good but brushes still run, the brush relay on the PCB may be stuck closed and the board should be replaced.
