Carpet cleaner shuts off unexpectedly during use and restarts after cooling

Safety: Unplug the Husqvarna carpet cleaner and allow it to cool before inspection.

• Clean filters and vents: Remove and clean all intake and exhaust filters. Ensure vents are not blocked by dust or furniture.
• Reduce load: Use slower passes on thick carpet and avoid pressing down excessively on the handle.
• Inspect brush and nozzle: Clear any obstructions that may be increasing drag on the brush or restricting suction.
• Motor evaluation: If shutdowns continue after cleaning, the suction motor may be overheating due to internal wear and should be replaced.
