Possible Causes

Failed solution pump motor, Blocked solution line or spray nozzle, Loose or corroded pump wiring connector, Faulty pump driver on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the Husqvarna carpet cleaner and empty the solution tank before service.

  • Check solution tank seating: Remove and reseat the Husqvarna clean solution tank. Ensure the valve at the bottom is not stuck and that the tank is fully latched.
  • Inspect spray nozzles: Remove the front nozzle assembly and soak the spray jets in warm water to dissolve detergent buildup. Use a soft brush or toothpick to clear mineral deposits; do not enlarge the nozzle orifices.
  • Check hoses: Follow the clear solution hose from the tank to the pump and from the pump to the spray bar. Look for kinks, pinches, or clogs. Flush with warm water if needed.
  • Test pump operation: Access the Husqvarna solution pump (usually near the base). Disconnect the pump electrical connector and test the pump coil resistance with a multimeter; compare to service specs. An open or shorted coil indicates a bad pump.
  • Check wiring and PCB: Inspect the pump connector and harness for corrosion or loose pins. If the pump and wiring test good but E03 persists, the pump driver circuit on the main control board may be defective and the PCB should be replaced.
