Possible Causes
Failed low-voltage power supply on PCB, Loose main harness connector, Internal short in one of the motors pulling down supply, Damaged control relay or triac
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Husqvarna carpet cleaner. Capacitors on the PCB can hold charge; avoid touching bare solder joints.
- Inspect wiring harness: Remove the main housing to access the control board. Check that the main multi-pin harness connectors are fully seated and free of corrosion.
- Isolate motors: Disconnect brush, pump, and suction motor connectors one at a time and attempt to power on (reconnect power only after reassembly of covers). If E06 clears when a specific motor is unplugged, that motor may be shorted.
- Visual PCB inspection: Look for burnt components, cracked solder joints, or bulged capacitors in the low-voltage section. If present, replace the Husqvarna main control board.
- Check line voltage: Confirm the supply voltage at the cord entry (with a qualified person and proper meter). Low or unstable mains can also trigger E06; try a different outlet.
