Possible Causes
Failed Hall-effect speed sensor on brush motor, Damaged sensor wiring, Debris between sensor and magnet ring, Faulty speed control circuit on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Husqvarna carpet cleaner before accessing the brush motor.
- Clean brush drive area: Remove the brush assembly and inspect the motor end where the speed sensor is located. Clean away dust and fibers that may interfere with the sensor or magnet ring.
- Inspect sensor wiring: Follow the small-gauge wires from the brush motor to the control board. Look for breaks, pinches, or loose connectors. Reseat the plug firmly.
- Test sensor: If accessible, use a multimeter to check the Hall sensor output while manually rotating the motor shaft (requires service data). If no pulsing signal is detected, replace the brush motor or sensor module.
- Control board check: If the sensor and wiring are good but E07 persists, the speed control circuit on the PCB may be defective and the board should be replaced.
