How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the Husqvarna carpet cleaner and remove the solution tank.

  • Bleed air from system: Fill the Husqvarna solution tank with warm water only. Reseat it firmly. Plug in, then hold the trigger for 30–60 seconds to purge air from the pump (do not run dry for long).
  • Clean tank inlet filter: At the bottom of the solution tank, locate the inlet screen or valve. Rinse under warm water and gently brush away debris.
  • Inspect hoses for leaks: With the tank installed and trigger pressed, look for drips or wet spots along the clear solution hoses. Replace any cracked or brittle hoses.
  • Clean spray bar: Remove the front nozzle/spray bar assembly. Soak in a descaling solution if you have hard water deposits. Use a soft brush to clear each jet.
