Husqvarna

Possible Causes
Failed trigger microswitch, Broken trigger lever, Disconnected handle wiring harness, Faulty input circuit on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Husqvarna carpet cleaner before opening the handle assembly.
- Inspect trigger mechanism: Remove screws from the handle housing and separate the halves. Check that the plastic trigger fully depresses the microswitch when pulled.
- Test microswitch: Use a multimeter in continuity mode across the switch terminals. Pull the trigger; continuity should appear when pressed. Replace the Husqvarna trigger switch if it fails this test.
- Check handle wiring: Ensure the small harness from the handle to the main body is not broken or pinched. Reseat connectors at both ends.
- PCB input check: If the switch and wiring are good, the main board may not be recognizing the trigger signal. Replacement of the main PCB may be required.
