Possible Causes
Misaligned clean or recovery tank, Faulty tank presence switch, Broken nozzle interlock tab, Damaged interlock wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Husqvarna carpet cleaner before adjusting tanks or switches.
- Reseat tanks and nozzle: Remove and reinstall the clean solution tank, recovery tank, and front nozzle. Ensure each clicks firmly into place and that seals are properly seated.
- Inspect interlock tabs: Look for small plastic tabs or magnets on the tanks/nozzle that actuate the interlock switch. If broken or missing, the tank or nozzle assembly may need replacement.
- Test interlock switch: Access the switch near the tank or nozzle mount. Use a multimeter to verify continuity when the tank/nozzle is installed. Replace the Husqvarna interlock switch if it does not change state.
- Check wiring: Follow the interlock harness to the main board and ensure connectors are secure.
