Possible Causes
Damaged handle cable, Loose connector at handle PCB, Faulty handle control PCB, Corroded low-voltage contacts
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect from mains before working on handle or electronics.
- Inspect handle cable: Examine the handle control cable along its length, especially at strain reliefs. Look for cuts, kinks, or crushed sections.
- Check connectors: Open the handle housing and main body panel to access the low-voltage connectors. Reseat all plugs to the handle PCB and main control PCB.
- Look for corrosion: If the unit has been exposed to moisture, inspect connectors for green/white corrosion. Clean with contact cleaner and a soft brush.
- Test buttons: With the unit reassembled, test each handle button. If none respond and E14 persists, the handle PCB or cable assembly may need replacement.
