Possible Causes
Empty fresh water/solution tank, Blocked spray jets, Airlock in solution line, Failed solution pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before disconnecting hoses or nozzles.
- Check tank level and mix: Fill the fresh water/solution tank with the correct Kärcher detergent mix. Ensure the tank is fully seated.
- Prime the system: Some models require holding the trigger for 30–60 seconds to purge air. Hold the trigger with the unit running until a steady spray appears.
- Clean spray jets: Remove the spray bar or individual spray nozzles. Soak in warm water and gently clear holes with a soft brush (never use needles that can enlarge jets).
- Check for kinks: Inspect the clear solution hose from tank to pump and pump to spray bar for kinks or pinched sections. Straighten or reroute as needed.
- Listen for pump: If there is still no spray and you cannot hear the pump running, the solution pump or its wiring may be faulty and require replacement.
