Possible Causes
Loose hose clamp on solution line, Cracked internal solution hose, Damaged pump housing seal, Overfilled fresh water tank
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and empty the tanks before opening the housing.
- Check tank overfill: Ensure the fresh water tank is filled only to the MAX line. Overfilling can cause overflow through vents.
- Inspect external connections: Examine visible hose connections at the tank outlets and floor head for drips. Tighten or reseat as needed.
- Open base housing: Remove the lower cover to access internal solution hoses and the pump housing. Look for wet areas while briefly running the pump (keep electrical parts dry and exposed only as necessary).
- Replace damaged parts: Replace any cracked hoses and secure with new hose clamps. If the pump housing seal is leaking, replace the pump or its gasket.
- Dry thoroughly: Dry the base tray and components before reassembly to prevent corrosion and false leak detection.
