Possible Causes
Broken or slipped brush belt, Brush roller end cap seized, Brush height set too low on thick carpet, Belt pulley worn or stripped
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and place it on its side.
- Access belt: Remove the bottom plate to expose the brush roller and belt.
- Inspect belt: If the belt is broken, stretched, or melted, replace it with a genuine Kobold belt.
- Check brush roller: Remove the roller and spin the end caps. If stiff or noisy, replace the roller assembly.
- Adjust height: If the brush stalls only on thick carpets, raise the brush height setting to reduce load.
