Carpet cleaner leaks water from the bottom when stationary

Safety: Unplug the unit and remove the solution tank. Avoid using the appliance until the leak is resolved.

• Inspect tank: Fill the solution tank and place it over a sink. Check for drips from the cap, seams, or outlet valve. Replace the tank or seals if leaking.
• Check tank outlet connection: Examine the connection point where the tank meets the machine. Ensure the O-ring or gasket is intact and not flattened.
• Inspect internal hoses: Open the housing and look for moisture along the solution hose path. Replace any cracked or brittle hoses and retighten clamps.
• Pump housing: Check around the pump body for signs of leakage. If the pump casing is cracked, replace the pump assembly.
