Carpet cleaner leaves carpets overly wet, poor water pickup

Possible Causes
Blocked or partially blocked suction nozzle, Worn or damaged floor head squeegee lips, Dirty water tank not sealing to body, Cracked suction channel or gasket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and empty the dirty water tank.
- Clean suction nozzle: Inspect the suction slot at the front/back of the floor head. Remove lint, hair, and debris that can restrict airflow.
- Check squeegee lips: Examine the rubber squeegee strips on the nozzle. If they are nicked, curled, or hardened, replace them with genuine Kobold squeegee strips.
- Verify tank seal: Ensure the dirty water tank lid is fully closed and the tank is properly latched into the body. Inspect the perimeter gasket and replace if damaged.
- Inspect suction channel: Look for cracks or gaps in the plastic suction path from the nozzle to the tank. Cracks can cause air leaks and poor pickup; affected parts should be replaced.
