Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit immediately and remove both tanks. Do not continue using a leaking appliance.
- Inspect for visible leaks: Check around the base, pump area, and under the tanks for signs of water or detergent.
- Check hoses and clamps: Open the housing to access the solution lines. Look for splits, pinholes, or loose clamps at the pump outlet and nozzle manifold. Tighten clamps and replace any damaged hoses with Kobold-approved tubing.
- Tank seals: Inspect the solution tank outlet seal and O-rings. Replace if cracked, flattened, or missing.
- Leak sensor pad: Some models use an absorbent pad or electronic sensor in the base. If soaked, dry or replace the pad and ensure the sensor contacts are clean.
After repairs, fully dry the interior before reassembly. If E11 returns with no visible leaks, the leak sensor or PCB input may be faulty.
