Possible Causes
Blocked airflow sensor port, Faulty differential pressure sensor, Cracked or disconnected sensor tube, Control PCB sensor circuit failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the carpet cleaner before accessing internal components.
- Clean filters and paths: Before suspecting the sensor, ensure all filters, hoses, and nozzles are clean and unobstructed.
- Locate airflow sensor: Find the small pressure sensor module and its silicone tube connected to the suction path. Ensure the tube is not kinked, split, or disconnected.
- Clear sensor port: Gently remove the tube and check for debris or moisture at the sensor port. Do not insert sharp objects; use gentle air pressure to clear.
- Dry moisture: If moisture is present in the tube, dry it completely and refit.
If E12 persists after these steps, the airflow sensor module or main PCB may need replacement.
