How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Kobold carpet cleaner before removing tanks or nozzles.
- Confirm tank installation: Remove and firmly reseat the solution tank until it clicks into place. Ensure the outlet valve is being depressed by the machine's inlet.
- Bleed air from system: Fill the tank with warm (not hot) water. Plug in the unit, then hold the spray trigger continuously for 30–60 seconds to purge air.
- Clean spray bar: Remove the floor head and access the spray bar. Rinse under warm water and use a soft brush to clear any buildup.
- Inspect tank valve seal: Check the rubber seal at the bottom of the solution tank. If it is cracked, stiff, or misshapen, replace the valve or tank assembly.
