How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Immediately switch off and unplug the unit. Do not continue to run it if you smell burning.
- Access brush roller: Remove the bottom plate of the floor head.
- Clear obstructions: Cut away hair, threads, and fibers wrapped around the brush roller and end caps.
- Inspect belt: Check the belt for glazing, melting, or stretching. Replace if any damage is visible.
- Check brush bearings: Spin the brush roller by hand. If it feels rough or stiff, replace the brush roller assembly.
- Test run: After reassembly with a new belt and cleaned brush, run the unit briefly. If burning smell persists, the motor may have been damaged and should be inspected by a technician.
