How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Kobold carpet cleaner before inspection.
- Isolate noise source: Run the unit briefly (then unplug) and listen to determine if the noise comes from the motor area or the brush head.
- Brush head check: Remove the floor head and run the unit without it. If the noise disappears, inspect the brush roller bearings and end caps for wear or debris. Replace the brush roller if worn.
