Unit will not stand upright or lock into storage position

Safety: Unplug the unit before working on the handle mechanism.

• Inspect lock area: Examine the pivot point where the handle meets the base. Remove any debris obstructing the latch.
• Check lock lever: Operate the upright lock pedal or lever and watch the mechanism. If the lever is loose or not moving the latch, replace the lever assembly.
• Examine latch catch: If the catch is worn or broken, replace the base latch component.
